Nike Zoom Kobe VII System: Shoe Science – Attack Fast

Nike Zoom Kobe VII System: Shoe Science – Attack Fast

Nike Zoom Kobe VII System: Shoe Science Attack Fast

“The system and the way I perform – they go hand in hand.” –

There’s a lot of science and engineering behind the Kobe System. With the interchangeable cushioning insoles, the Kobe VII truly adapts to the game of the player, and as Kobe Bryant demonstrates the abilities and advantages of the Attack Fast option, you can truly comprehend that the Kobe VII is unlike any other sneaker created. Eric Avar, who designed the Zoom Kobe VII, further details the structural components of the sneaker, emphasizing the different Zoom Air units in the insole which collectively provide Kobe with a ‘Fast’ approach to the game. Check out the video of the Shoe Science behind the Attack Fast system and get your Kobe VII in stores today.

Nike Zoom KD IV Year of the Dragon Packaging

Sneaker News just showed you the Nike Kobe VII System’s answer to the Air Jordan 2012 ‘Year of the Dragon’s extravagant special edition housing, and we’ve already seen the Air Force 1 Low YOTD’s ‘AF1-XXX’ box, so that leaves one more from Nike’s ‘Year of the Dragon’ pack and its packaging. The Nike Zoom KD IV comes through with a box that’s certainly upscale of the typical Kevin Durant signature release, yet not quite as immediately impressive as the AJ2012 and ZK7s. The construction looks to be something like the YOTD AF1s, but instead of a red-on-white grid, this one’s covered in the dragons colored in the Green Abyss and Current Blue combo that gives this pair its unique look. Check out more images after the jump and now that we’ve seen all four, let us know which of the Nike Chinese New Year 2012 boxes is best. via fatboykickz.

A three-drawered package holding six different cushioning/fit setup combinations for one advanced performance design has given the Air Jordan 2012 an early lead in the ‘Year of the Dragon’ special edition packaging, but that won’t be the only premium treatment given to a YOTD drop coming out of Beaverton. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Year of the Dragon’ will make its own mark on the occasion, albeit in a totally different form than the AJ2012, despite the fact that the ZK7 also features an interchangeable insert system. But the Kobe VII System YOTD goes for a more conceptually gratifying approach, opting for an angular molded case whose lines and colors were taken straight from the shoe’s rear sole. It can’t double as an armoire, but this box is certainly one of the more unique we’ve seen for any special edition drop; is it the best of the Chinese New Year packages? Low-top kicks Jordans were made for the summer-time climate (or the all-year-round climate, depending on where you’re located), and this May 2012, Jordan Brand’s going to hit us with a Retro treat that we haven’t seen in a over a decade. Here’s another look at the White/Black-Varsity Red colorway of the Low; we’re certain you’ve surveyed these rather thoroughly since we last showed these a few nights ago, but a quick overview is in order. A tonal white upper pairing white patent leather and white ballistic nylon is contrasted with a translucent red outsole, then finalized with a black inner lining – almost like ‘Home’ version of the Bred XI. There may be more releases to hit this year, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for all updated information and let us know what you think of these May 2012 drops in comments section below.

A freak of physical nature can only be born out of a cosmological event like the Big Bang, making the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Big Bang’ a fitting colorway for the Nike LeBron 9. Say what you will about his on-court success or shortcomings – there is nobody else in NBA history built like . It’s only a matter of time that a championship ring will be on his finger, and with the Heat looking like one of the two true contenders in the East, will LeBron his third Finals appearance come this June? Before we get to that stage, there’s another platform we can look forward to – the NBA All-Star Game. LeBron will be rocking the Nike LeBron 9 in this hot-orange colorway with intergalactic imagery on the insole and visible midfoot plate with a glow-in-the-dark outsole providing an added punch to this already electrifying package. Nike Air Force 1 Low + Destroyer Jacket Year of the Dragon Special Packaging

That whole thing about the Nike Air Force 1 Low being perhaps the least imrpessive of the Nike ‘Year of the Dragon’ collection in terms of packaging — you can throw that right out the window. And taking nowthing away from the ‘AF1-XXX’ box and the dragon-emblazoned version we’ve seen, but the Air Jordan 2012 and the Zoom Kobe VII YOTD editions each come in some of the best boxes we’ve seen, maybe ever. But this special edition wooden box for the AF1 might turn out to be the nicest of them all, a dark stained beauty with intricate carved brass symbols on the lid, and not only does it come with the shoes, but also a matching Destroyer Varsity Jacket to create the kind of package that’s going to see some otherworldly resale prices. Air Jordan Retro Releases Fall 2012

2011 was an outstanding year for Air Jordan Retros, with neck-breaking releases coming at us every month – Sneaker News could’ve done a Top 30 list with just Jordans! But Jordan Brand isn’t about to put a stop to its unrelenting release schedule because this Fall 2012 season, we can expect quite a handful. Confirmed for this Fall 2012 cycle are the re-releases of the , Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’, Air Jordan VII ‘Raptors’, and the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’; some notes to consider are that the Mars IV will not feature the Spike logo, and the ‘Olympic’ VII will likely be sans-FTLOTG gold stitched logo as well (more like the earlier release). Some new colorways that should be hitting us is the oft-discussed Air Jordan VI/VII ‘Olympic Pack’, and an Air Jordan IV ’23rd Anniversary’, that should be a huge hit given this year’s milestone for the Air Jordan IV. We’ve got a more specific release schedule for you below, so let us know if you think 2012 will surpass 2011 as the best year for Air Jordan Retros of this decade! via King Au on NT.
